Welcome aboard A Journey in Complexity

The primary intent of this blog is to capture thoughts over the next two years as I pursue a Masters of Science in Complex Systems Science at Arizona State University (ASU).

I imagine this may include reflections on academic papers, threads of ideas, and the occasional book review.

It may also include frequent interludes, the infrequent rant, and perhaps more questions than answers.

After all, in John Muir's words,

“When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the universe.”

So, in that spirit, this blog is as much for me to wade through making sense of those connections as it is to provide the reader at least a small window into that process.
